After a snowy day (and subsequently postponing our shoot) I recently got to meet up with Amy and Clay for an engagement session. What a shoot it was! Clay had me laughing from the beginning with his personality. Amy looked amazing, and they both photographed well, as Clay kept us all in stitches.
You can see how he hammed it up for the camera…I had asked him to get a bit more ‘involved’ in a certain setting…which resulted in images 5 and 6. No caption necessary. There’s also a mini-collage of some of Clay’s best facial expressions.
As I was packing up my gear after the session, I asked (as I usually do)…”Is there anything else you guys had in mind?” Seven years and no ‘takers.’ So Clay pipes up: “well, I have this chair at my house…it’s a La-Z-Boy, and it means a lot to me.” He stopped there (and my curiosity was piqued). So we photographed Clay in his chair, and it was a surreal experience. I’ve included the most ‘gripping’ of the images, but there are quite a few more for a fun series. Thanks, guys for cutting loose with me; I can’t wait until the wedding in July!
