baby Jack – the late shift

Children are such an incredible blessing; helping us to see the things that really matter in life. It’s also more surreal than I had imagined — the fact that this child came from Lindsey and me. Babies epitomize a being in its purest form of existence. This ‘pure’ existence consists of feeding, sleeping, and…going through diapers. I’m occasionally entrusted with the latter two, normally in the wee hours of the morning.

During such times, when not working on the diaper side of things, I’ve been getting my camera out, and snapping away. This child is too young to speak, and not so mobile. So…in other words, he can’t protest or run away, as his father attempts to document his life!
