John and I were so excited to head back to Huntsville for Brian + Selina’s wedding. We had the privilege of photographing their friends’ wedding a couple of weeks ago. (see Jonathan & Jamie‘s post!) The weather was not ideal for an outdoor wedding at the Hampton Cove Golf Course, but that did not dampen anyone’s spirits. About an hour before the ceremony, we heard the tornado sirens and were ordered to the country club’s basement to weather out the storm. (Keep in mind: this is an outdoor ceremony!) Finally, Selina was able to put on her gorgeous gown from Boutique Couture. Even though it was pouring rain, their ceremony went on without a hitch. Not to sound cheesy, but if you watch the slideshow closely, you’ll see a few shots that actually contain real sunshine. No kidding: when Selina came down the aisle, the sun emerged from its hiding place, and only after she had walked all the way to her groom did the sun disappear! Guests had a great time at a hopping reception; much thanks to a friendly staff and uber-cool DJ. You can register here to see all of their images when they are available.
