Cynthia + Lawson

John and I were so excited when Cynthia and Lawson approached us about doing an engagement session in New York City. Not only was it one of their favorite places to visit together, but the time of year was perfect for a photo shoot. Central Park was a MUST for them, and it lived up to our high expectations for a location. John and I also took them to Pier One at Brooklyn Bridge Park, which gave us beautiful views back towards Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. Honestly, we didn’t even have our hopes up for a sunset considering how rainy and dreary it was, but the sun came from behind the clouds to give us an amazing sunset. It was intense (not quite a double rainbow, but so amazing nonetheless)! After that, we were off to 230 Fifth, which is literally a rooftop garden providing unrivaled views of the Empire State Building. They also offer you a snuggie if you’re cold! Of course, we had to finish up in Times Square, where we had numerous onlookingers watching…the best part was that with such a fantastic-looking couple most of the onlookers were whispering to one another, trying to figure out who these celebrities were! So great.
