We have been photographing weddings in this area for over a decade, and I have had the pleasure to meet so many great people who work alongside of us in the industry. Sometimes, it might just be a “hello” in passing on a wedding day, or seeing someone briefly at a bridal show, etc. I realized that I might know the work of a florist, or the distinctive flavor of a caterer, but I didn’t really know the people behind the scenes. So, I’ve started reaching out to some of my favorite vendors in the area, and have begun photographing and interviewing them. I’d like to give potential brides a great behind-the-scenes look at the wedding professionals in the area, and the amazing work that they do. This is the fourth installment of a large series of spotlights!
Kendra owns Ever After Bridal, in Cleveland, TN. I think I met her on a photo shoot that we did for a Premier Bride with Blaire Pancake. I was a bit nervous about photographing Miss Tennessee (she’s such an amazing person), but doing my best not to show it! Kendra was a rockstar to work with as she helped style this gorgeous bride (all the while unknowingly soothing the nerves of a young photographer!). Ever since, she’s been a great encouragement, and we’ve had the chance to work together on some really fun and beautiful weddings!
How would you describe yourself?
I would describe myself as a passionate business woman who loves people. Every bride is unique and I love making her special day one that she will never forget.

classy, elegant and unique
How long have you been in business?
We will celebrate 10 years January 6th! I can’t wait for the next 10!
What do you love the most about Chattanooga?
Mostly I love the family atmosphere it has along with all its activities. I’m a city girl from California and having a bigger city close to home makes me happy.
What sets you apart from your competition?
When you walk into Ever After you will see what sets us apart. We take pride in our beauty and especially our customer service. We have a #IsaidYes board that our brides and guests get to take their picture with along with a special celebration we do for every bride who says YES!
What inspires you?
My family and faith definitely inspire me. I am nothing without my faith in Christ. My husband and 3 boys are what I live for.
What is your favorite aspect of a or your job?
My favorite aspect would be the moment the bride sees herself as the beautiful women she is. I love creating the perfect atmosphere for the bride and her family as she finds the dress of her dreams. It is the best feeling to know you have been a part of such a special day.
Do you have any advice you’d like to give engaged couples?
My advice would be to enjoy the wedding experience because it goes by so very quickly. Love unconditionally and never go to bed angry. Life is to short to sweat the small stuff.
