Lindsey and I were thrilled to be asked to photograph Jessica and Jacques’ recent wedding. We’ve been keeping an eye on Jacques, hearing about his football career as he went from Baylor School through the University of Tennessee, and then as he was drafted in to the NFL. As skilled and powerful he is on the field, he’s even nicer and more genuine off the field than I had imagined.
We were excited when Jessica called; not just for how beautiful of a bride she would be, but that together they would be fun and a great couple to photograph. We had a blast getting to know one another at our rainy day engagement session, yet I was quite relieved that we were able to dodge the rain on their beautiful wedding day. Jessica looked absolutely divine in Maggie Sottero from Ever After, while Jacques brought a whole new look with a white coat and a sweet scarf.
It was our first opportunity to photograph at the beautiful and expansive North Cleveland Church of God, which proved to be a beautiful backdrop both for our images and the ceremony itself. Kendra from Ever After Bridal also did a great job doing the wedding coordinating, and kept things rolling smoothly. Cleveland’s Museum Center at 5ive Points was completely transformed by Luma Designs and had an incredible atmosphere. Ahmed and the team from Alshabibi worked their magic on the food, while SoundForce‘s team kept the dance floor busy. Thanks to so many vendors and individuals whose talents collaborated for such a beautiful event!
Feel free to register on Pictage to see all of the images when they’re ready, and in the meantime, here are my favorites; but don’t forget to check out the slideshow, which features music from one of my college friends, Charlene Ava!
