I love engagement sessions. Seriously. Even on the hottest — or the rainiest — of days, I really enjoy getting to know our future brides and grooms before their weddings. This was no exception! Jessica + Troy were seriously amazing together, and I didn’t have to do any ‘coaching’ at all on how they should look/be/stand/smile/kiss, etc. So not only were they very natural in front of the camera, but we were also privileged to be at Barnsley Gardens, one of my all-time favorite places to photograph. We photographed in and around the ruins, and then got a bit more casual and played some baseball in one of the fields. I love it when we’re able to make these sessions personal to the couple, and so it was no stretch at all for baseball, since that’s what Troy played in college.
We’re looking forward to the wedding this fall! Congrats, guys!
