Last weekend, Lindsey and I had the pleasure of traveling to South Carolina to photograph John and Emily’s wedding. It was our first wedding in SC, and I quite enjoyed it. From the hospitality, to the shrimp and grits, to a gorgeous bride, handsome groom, it was a joy to photograph. Then things got interesting:
The forecast was for rain…lots of it…but it turned out beautifully.
The groom’s wallet was stolen just before he came to the church…but he took care of that like a gentleman.
Then, at the reception: literally as the bride and groom were cutting the cake, it began to fall on them…but some quick-thinking family members saved the day.
Suffice it to say: there were some interesting situations, and the bride and groom (as well as their family and friends) handled things very gracefully!
