Leah + Steve | engaged

I always say that the engagement sessions are so fun for me; to have an opportunity to get acquainted with our couples, and simply enjoy taking pictures. Steve + Leah certainly did not disappoint! We got to photograph at a beautiful cabin that Leah’s grandfather built over 80 years ago on Lake Ocoee, with an unsurpassed view of Sugarloaf Mountain! I was in photographer’s paradise; loving the couple’s personalities, and the way they interacted with one another.

Since we carpooled to the lake, I got to hear all about how they met, and fell in love. On paper, one would think that the personalities of a lawyer and a yoga instructor/modern dancer wouldn’t work; but that’s what is so amazing about love…it goes way beyond the surface, and it’s not only similarities that unite couples, but their differences that seem to balance one another out in such beautiful ways!

Here are some of my absolute favorites! My only regret was not bringing my family and some marshmallows to this amazing cabin!

Thanks, Leah + Steve for being so fun to photograph; we can’t wait for the wedding in May!
