John + Lindsey Bamber

Working and photographing together is our passion. Each wedding is a new opportunity for us to bring our photographic strengths to light. Lindsey is the quiet, patient photojournalist, and John the out-of-the box, fashion-forward shooter. Together, our perspectives marry storytelling with style for the complete documentation of the wedding day.

John received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography at Belmont University, as well as a year's study at the L'Ecole Regionale Des Beaux-Arts in Angers, France. Most recently, he was awarded residency in France's prestigious Ecole Nationale Superieure de la Photographie, in Arles where he studied for six months.

It is our utmost hope that our passion for creativity provides you with photographs that capture your lifestyle and personality. Our couples are not just clients; they are friends that have entrusted us with the privilege to tell their story. They do this not just for themselves, but for the families that become united, the friends that travel long distances, and the legacy that they leave for generations to come.

Matthew + Meaghan | married

Matthew and Meaghan are such a great couple. They just make you feel comfortable the minute you meet them, like you have known them for years. John and I really enjoyed getting to be a part of their wedding. These two are both architects so they chose an Architecture book for their guests to sign as they entered the wedding. Meaghan’s dress was by Marisa from Monica’s and it was truly one of my favorite wedding dresses of ALL time. It fit her perfectly and just wore so well throughout the day. Judy Parker with Weddings, etc did a beautiful job with all the flowers as well as the event planner for the wedding. Matthew and Meaghan were taken in an amazing ’59 Cadillac to the Mill for their reception. Everyone was on the dance floor all night dancing to music by Constantly Awesome. Sarah + Matthew | engaged

Sarah and Matthew are just such a cute couple! John met them at Wooden’s Apple Orchard, where Matthew used to work, for their engagement session. I love the way the all of their images turned out so warm and beautiful which is just perfect for their personalities! John and I are so excited about your September wedding, we can’t wait! Here is some of the film that John shot on his new (well…new to him) Pentacon Six camera. It’s the same camera that Sarah is holding in a few of the pictures! Fun stuff! Gotta love that Eastern Bloc technology!

Josh + Megan | married (after 10 years of dating!!)

Josh and Megan’s wedding was a true celebration after 10 years of dating! Their celebration was held at the historic Fillauer Lake House and although the forcast looked like rain, we had a hot and beautiful sunny day! Alisha and Tyler with Foxy Events did a fantastic job, as always, of keeping everything together. Megan wore an amazing Maggie Sottero dress and the flowers were by Grafe Studio.
