Ray + Ashlee | married

Lindsey and I had an awesome trip to Savannah, GA for Ray + Ashlee’s wedding. We completely fell in love with the town, people, and all of the history that makes Savannah so special. We were beyond amazed at the beauty of the town (John was crazy about all of the trees in Savannah’s many parks). It is easy to see why Ashlee + Ray chose Savannah as their wedding location, and why we’ll hopefully be going back to visit as well! We got to know the bride and groom on their wedding day, but a framed print from the reception sums up Ashlee + Ray better than anything I can come up with! So here it is:

1.68 miles

distance between Ray and Ashlee growing up

How They Met

He approached her in the bowling alley with a prize from the claw machine

First Date

Ray picked her up on the way to school and took her to Poole’s Deli for breakfast

First Kiss

After soccer practice, Ray asked if she would kiss him if he had no teeth

First “I love you”

Sitting in the driveway, Ray drew the words on her back

Proposal

Ray proposed standing in the door of his closet while searching for an outfit to wear, even though Ashlee was already ironing his clothes

We were so honored to be a part of the wedding! Thanks as well to the other vendors who helped to make it happen as well!
