We had such a wonderful time in Fort Walton last weekend at Steve & Heather’s wedding. It was so fitting that their wedding take place in Fort Walton because that is where Steve & Heather met. Heather was a bridesmaid at another wedding that we photographed back in December and asked us to be a part of her wedding.
John began the weekend at the boys’ golf game at Blue Water Bay and I began the weekend with the ladies at the bridesmaids’ luncheon. Both of their families were so warm and welcoming. That evening, after a beautiful rehearsal on the beach in Destin, we took a sunset cruise for the rehearsal dinner. It was a beautiful evening full of laughter and great food.
The weather on the wedding day was absolutely gorgeous. Heather looked stunning in her Maggie Sottero gown carrying classic calla lilies. Heather’s father not only gave away his only daughter, but also officiated the ceremony. Then after a beautiful sunset, it was off the reception.
